Splinter Cell: Blacklist (Xbox 360) Get Sneaky With the New Sam Fisher | C.O.G.

It might take some time to adjust but a new Splinter Cell with a new Sam Fisher is just as good, if not better, than some of its predecessors. CanadianBoarder over at COG takes a look and gives his impressions.
"Ok, wait just a second here. You expect me to play a Splinter Cell game where Sam Fisher isnt played by Michael Ironside? Yeah, thats not going to happen.
Those were the immediate thoughts that ran through my head when it was announced that Mr. Ironside felt like he was too old to keep up as Splinter Cells main protagonist in Blacklist, the newest game in this storied franchise. In my eyes it was like replacing the lead singer of a well-known band. We know that often times that scenario just doesnt work out. I mean lets be serious for a second, who actually likes Sammy Hagar before David Lee Roth? NOBODY, thats who. Kids, if you dont know who Im talking about feel free to fire up Wikipedia."

For a lover of the shadow and a master of ledge hanging, nothing can get as gigantic as Splinter Cell: Blacklist. Sam Fisher is back on board the Fourth Echelon, the American Presidents new breed of spy infiltrators, chosen from the previously disbanded Third Echelon (from Splinter Cell: Conviction). He is joined by his ex team mate Grim, a Rookie agent Briggs and a young and convinced Informations Hacker, Charlie. Together they are going to stop an American threat touted to be the next big threat after 9/11, led by a terrorist group who call themselves The Engineers; the threat is classified as Blacklist.
Splinter Cell returns at the right time, with the right blend of action and flamboyance. The whole aura of the Blacklist attack will push the story forward, with a digestible terrorism story and a propelled build up. As Sam Fisher, you will go through several missions, be it solo, Co-Op or Main Story based, in order to crash the terrorist party and stop the Blacklist, one step...

Rob from NAGF writes "Sam Fisher has moved away from his arthritic self and looks like hes been downing vitality yoghurts by the 8-pack. He glides through Libya, Marawa, Dallas and many more worldwide locations, with as much finesse as Ezio from Assassins Creed."

So here is the situation you find yourself in. Sam is crouched behind cover observing three unsuspecting enemies having a conversation. Do you, A- whistle to get the attention of one of the guards, luring him to your location to meet his untimely demise when you take him down from within cover, to which you then mark the remaining two foes spring from cover and execute them both with two precisely placed bullets to their temples. Or do you, B- Burst out of cover with an assault rifle or shotgun and gun all three of them down. Or do you, C- Completely bypass all three enemies by finding an alternate path and vanish like the ghost you are. The freedom and choices available to the player is what makes this latest installment into the Splinter Cell franchise so great. Sam Fisher is back, with a new voice, to stop a terrorist threat known as the Blacklist by becoming the leader of the newly formed Fourth Echelon.
